BNSF 970- passes an eastbound stacker west of Dalies, NM on January 3, 2014.

BNSF C44-9W's 970, 5020 and 5471 along with ES44C4 6372 pass an eastbound stack train as they head downhill toward Rio Puerco, NM with their westbound stacke on January 3, 2014. The eastbound double stack train is following shortly after the coal train in the previous image. This was a busy time as track work at Dalies Jct. was just finishing up and several waiting trains in each direction were released. The 970's paint scheme (Heritage 1) is holding up better than warbonnet paint on locomotives delivered in the same time period.
